Tinubulight Programme

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern use of the Tinubulight website, calculator, forms, accounts, application tracking and support services.

Last updated: 6 August 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By using the website or submitting information, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. Do not use the service or submit another person’s information unless you have the authority to do so.

2. Purpose of the service

Tinubulight provides programme information, an indicative energy calculator, business applications, verified tracking, account and document workflows, and support channels. The website does not itself constitute a financing agreement, equipment-sale agreement or installation contract.

3. Eligibility and authority

You must be legally able to provide the information submitted and, where you act for a business or another person, have appropriate authority. Tinubulight may request evidence of identity, business operation, address, ownership or authority.

4. Accurate information

You must provide complete and accurate information and update it when it materially changes. Tinubulight may pause, decline, correct, archive or investigate a record that is false, misleading, duplicated, abusive or cannot be reasonably verified.

5. Accounts and security

You are responsible for protecting your password, email account, verification codes and device access. Do not share an account or attempt to access another applicant’s record. Notify support@tinubulight.ng promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. Calculator results

Calculator outputs are estimates based on the appliances, wattages, operating hours and costs supplied, together with the current approved assumptions. They are not a final technical design, site survey, quotation, credit decision or guarantee of savings. A requirement above Tier C is referred for a customised technical assessment.

7. Applications, verification and documents

Submitting an application does not guarantee eligibility, financing, equipment allocation or installation. Tinubulight may request additional information and may verify records with lawful sources or relevant service providers. Uploaded documents must be genuine, relevant and free from malicious content.

8. Financing and payments

Any displayed deposit, interest, repayment or cost figure is indicative until confirmed in a formal agreement. Final terms are determined by the participating financing institution and other approved parties. Do not make payment to an unverified person or account. Tinubulight will not display a named bank or financing partner until approved public details are confirmed.

9. Installation and support

Installation dates, equipment models, commissioning and support arrangements depend on approval, site conditions, availability and the applicable agreement. Safety-critical electrical or fire concerns should be reported immediately through the appropriate emergency and support channels.

10. Acceptable use

  • Do not submit fraudulent, unlawful, abusive or impersonating content.
  • Do not probe, bypass or interfere with security, rate limits, verification or access controls.
  • Do not use automated tools to overload, scrape or submit to the service without written permission.
  • Do not upload malware, harmful code or content that infringes another person’s rights.
  • Do not misuse the Tinubulight, NBTI or UKALD name, identity or materials.

11. Communications

You agree to receive operational emails about assessments, applications, verification, documents, tracking, support and security at the address supplied. Keep the email address current. Marketing communication, if introduced, will be handled separately where consent or another lawful basis is required.

12. Intellectual property

The website design, text, software, branding and programme materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. You may use the service for its intended purpose but may not copy, resell, misrepresent or commercially exploit protected materials without permission.

13. Third-party services and links

The website may use or link to third-party services such as reCAPTCHA, email, hosting, financing, verification or installation providers. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply to their services.

14. Service availability and changes

Tinubulight may maintain, update, suspend or change parts of the service, programme rules, calculator settings or content. Reasonable steps will be taken to preserve submitted records, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

15. Suspension and termination

Access may be limited or suspended to protect the platform, investigate misuse, comply with law, respond to security risk or enforce these terms. Where appropriate, the applicant may be informed of the reason and available next step.

16. Responsibility and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Tinubulight is not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by a user, an unverified third party, failure to protect account credentials, or reliance on an indicative calculator result as a final technical or financing decision. Nothing in these terms excludes any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes should first be raised through the official support or general-enquiries channel so that a good-faith resolution can be attempted.

18. Contact

General questions may be sent to info@tinubulight.ng, application questions to applications@tinubulight.ng, and support matters to support@tinubulight.ng.
