1. Information supplied by the user
The calculator assumes that appliance quantities, wattages and operating hours are accurate. Actual demand may differ because of appliance condition, starting loads, operating behaviour, temperature, future expansion and other site-specific factors.
2. Technical assessment
A recommendation does not replace an on-site inspection, electrical audit, structural assessment, final engineering design, installation plan or commissioning test. A requirement above Tier C is referred for a customised technical assessment.
3. Cost and equipment availability
Displayed costs use the approved backend assumptions and may change with equipment specification, logistics, taxes, installation conditions, market prices and availability. The result is not a binding quotation.
4. Financing illustration
The public formula applies a 30% loss and safety allowance, calculates indicative equipment and installation costs, uses a 10% deposit and displays 12, 24 and 36-month estimates at an indicative 18% annual flat rate. Final approval, charges, deposit, repayment schedule and eligibility remain subject to verification and the participating financing institution.
5. Savings and payback
Savings and payback estimates depend on current energy spending and assumptions about future fuel, electricity, maintenance, operating hours and system performance. Actual savings may be higher or lower.
6. No automatic approval
A calculator result, saved assessment or apparent eligibility does not guarantee financing, equipment allocation, installation or any particular programme outcome.
